Axiom Plate Array
The GeneTitan streamlines array processing for genotyping applications in human, model and applied research organisms. The array plates are available in 96-array layouts to provide an automated solution for high throughput SNP genotyping and gene expression analysis.

The Axiom Genome-Wide Association array plates (96-array format) are available in pre-designed population specific sets or can be custom designed by selecting SNPs from the Affymetrix database of 11 million validated genomic markers combined with the researcher’s own proprietary target markers derived from sequencing initiatives. The Axiom arrays enable a broad selection of applications including genome wide association studies, replication studies, candidate-gene association and targeted genotyping for human disease research and agricultural genomics. CPGR will provide assistance with experimental design where required.
For each array plate 96 samples are required. Following QC steps, DNA samples will be amplified using a proprietary assay. Automated hybridization, washing and imaging of arrays will be carried out using the GeneTitan MC Instrument. The initial analysis is carried out to determine the quality of the data using Affymetrix Genotyping Console™ Software. A detailed list of the array types can be found on the Affymetrix website. Bioinformatics support is available if required.
An Analytical Report will be provided containing an in-depth analysis of project results. QC results for critical stages of the assay and the data QC report are included. Data quality is assessed using Affymetrix Genotyping Console™ Software. Raw data files are also made available to the client.
