Overview

The BioMark HD System sets a new benchmark for high-throughput real-time PCR, end-point PCR, and digital PCR. PCR assay detection is supported by integrated fluidic circuits (IFC) designed with integrated thermal cycling and detection systems. Data is simultaneously captured for each IFC reaction chamber in either real-time mode, for gene expression experiments, or end-point detection mode, for genotyping experiments. The BioMark HD System offers an open and flexible platform for assays so as to accommodate a wide variety of sample types, multiple chemistry choices, and a large degree of flexibility without compromising performance. Gene expression analysis is supported by DELTAgene™ Assays for mid-plex gene expression studies, and SNPtype™ Assays for high throughput, low-cost single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping. The BioMark HD system is designed to assist researchers in going from discovery to validation using one easy platform.

Service Details

Target DNA, RNA or miRNA is isolated and subjected to the relevant QC analysis. Analyses using RNA as the starting material are reverse transcribed to generate cDNA and subjected to a preamplification step as necessary. The resulting cDNA or isolated DNA is then used as template for the PCR assay. The probes and detection system utilised are client specific.

Service Deliverables

An analytical report is provided containing an in-depth analysis of project results. Data is provided as Cq numbers and can be displayed in multiple formats, including colour-coded maps for each IFC reaction chamber, amplification curves, and numeric tables. File formats can be GenEx, CSV or Excel.
