TaqMan® Arrays are used predominantly for validating the "interesting" hits from microarray assays because TaqMan® Arrays can be customized to include up to 384 of those hits in one easy-to-use card. TaqMan® Custom Arrays are ideal for screening biomarkers and toxicology panels and for analyzing pathways, target classes, and complete disease sets. TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays are highly specific and sensitive for real-time PCR. They are pre-loaded into a micro fluidic card, thus ensuring reliable performance.
Service Details
The TaqMan® Custom Array is a 384-well micro fluidic card. The card allows the researcher to perform up to 384 simultaneous real-time PCR reaction. Each card has 8 sample-loading ports, each connected to 48 reaction wells. The protocol involves simply pipetting the sample (pre-mixed with Master Mix) into each sample-loading port and briefly centrifuging. The cards may be primed with between12-384 TaqMan® Gene Expression Assay targets for 1-8 samples to be run in parallel. Just select the TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays and the TaqMan® Array format for your experiment. Over 47,000 gene expression assays covering human, mouse, and rat genes are available. Using the TaqMan® Array is fast and simple.
Service Deliverable
Report includes the QC quality gate results, the raw data and an analysis report. Bioinformatic analysis and interpretation of data is optional.
Sample/Info Submission Info
1-8 samples may be run on each 384 well plate. The concentration of RNA per sample required is a minimum of 150ng in 10uL for effective cDNA synthesis for 80-100 reactions. RNA must be proven good quality (bioanalyzer trace) and 260/280 and 260/230 ratios between 1.8 and 2.1.
