Both the E. coli and the Baculovirus expression vector systems are widely used for the production of recombinant proteins. CPGR offers a custom service for the expression of
full-length recombinant proteins as part of protein biomarker discovery and development workflows. Either system can generate proteins with fusion/affinity tags (e.g. Biotin) to accomodate clients'
needs. Below is a comparison of pros and cons of using either vector system which will aid in selecting the appropriate vector.

Our current capacity allows for production of recombinant proteins using the BEVS in high-throughput using small scale cell cultures for the purposes of custom protein microarray manufacturing. We
can also produce large-scale full-length proteins and purify them. Our validated expression workflow (see below) incorporates defined quality control gates to ensure that the correct proteins are
produced.
