Detailed Description and Background
Agilent RNA Kits are designed to analyze Total RNA (Eukaryotic & prokaryotic) Nano, mRNA Nano, Total Plant RNA Nano, Total RNA Pico, as well as enriched small RNA assay. The Chips can take up to 11 and 12 samples for the Pico and Nano respectively but our validated protocols require that we include a control sample as an internal reference to show that both the equipment and process are within bounds.

Service Details
Fast results - 11 samples in 30 minutes.Sizing and quantification in one assay. Minimal sample consumption - 1 ul.Easy comparisons. Digital operation and data. The Agilent Bioanalyzer is used to assess the sample's integrity and suitability prior to downstream application. Good RNA samples should have a RNA Integrity Number(RIN) between 7.0 and 10.00 and a concentration of 25-500ng/ul to be able to assign this RIN.

Service Deliverable
An analytical report containing nanodrop results as well as a summary of the Bioanalyzer results are sent to the client. Assay details are provided as a pdf report with data algorithm set to nucleotides(nt).

Sample/Info Submission Info
Samples must be submitted on ice at a concentration of 50 to 500 ng/ul in a volume of no less than 3ul. When submitting samples, please indicate the type of sample material and organism. The 260/280 ratio should be between 1.8 and 2.0 and 260/230 ratios should be > 1.5. For the Bioanalyzer, the quantitative range should be between 25-500ng/ul.
